How do I Know if I Should Start a Lifestyle Blog?
Non sure a lifestyle weblog is correct for you? Please hear me loud and clear… don't make the same Mistake that I did when I first started blogging.
How do I know if I Should Beginning a Lifestyle Weblog?
I started a blog back in 2011 about party planning.
- I loved political party planning
- Others told me that I was adept at it
- So my new blog should be about information technology, right?
Wrong.

Certain, I did dear styling parties, but it wasn't something I wanted to recollect virtually all of the time, or ONLY talk about on my new blog.
Feeling restricted, I quickly became burnt out on talking about parties and realized that I wanted to talk about other things going on in my life, like a new recipe I made for my family unit, how I decorated our new domicile, fashion finds, etc. … and those didn't fit on a party planning blog.
This is when the passion for party stying died and I was no longer excited to piece of work on that blog.
Then later 2 years, I started a new blog from scratch and my lifestyle blog Fantabulosity was born.
I immediately felt FREE!
Now, I was able to blog virtually whatever I was excited to web log most, and this uncovered then much motivation and drive to piece of work on and abound Fantabulosity!
I was blogging about all things in life, similar:
- My favorite guacamole recipe.
- The cute new outfit that I establish.
- A self-intendance, straight-from-the-heart blog post well-nigh my current struggles in life.
- A new free printable to help organize daily life.
- And one of my favorites… web log posts on how to encourage and help others start their own blogs! Something that I'm VERY passionate almost.
I even institute my beloved for styling parties again and now I go on to even style parties for brands and create blog posts on my lifestyle web log.
The Moral Is…
But the moral is… I spent TWO WHOLE YEARS on a web log that concluded upwardly going in the trash. Fourth dimension, money, and blog content that went to waste. Don't brand that same error.
Know that the party planning web log went in the trash because information technology was hacked and I didn't desire to spend the coin to recover it.
But I wouldn't have tossed a blog if it was working properly… I would have actually sold information technology to someone who would have loved it more than than I did!

- travel
- pets
- sports
- fitness
- finance
- glory
- news
- … and so much more
A "Niche" Web log Instance
For case, the example I always like to give for a niche blog, is starting a blog on "vacuum reviews."
Sure, "vacuum reviews" may exist dull to most, possibly something you lot're not actually passionate about, but let'south say you've done your research and you KNOW that vacuum reviews is something that's needed out in "internet world".
Then, yous consider it considering you desire readers to know to come to you to find out the latest and the best when they're considering a new vacuum and Google will also know exactly what your blog is about because the topic won't exist covered up with other lifestyle-type blog posts on your blog.
